CEMENT TYPE GU

Meets ASTM C-1157 standards

Meets ASTM C-150 standards

This type of cement is used for specialized construction where the works have a structural commitment (eg in the construction of buildings). They consist of clinker and gypsum. Shows high resistance in the short
and long term.

CEMENT TYPE II

Meets ASTM C-150 standards

This cement is used in sea areas (eg bridge building) and is composed of clinker and gypsum. The difference between this type of cement Cement Type I is its mineral composition, because the tricalcium aluminate (C3A) should be less than 8%.
It has a moderate heat of hydration and moderate resistance to sulfate and aggressive water.

Meets ASTM C-1157 standards

Suitable for the production of structures that require high early strength; eg Elaboraciones Block, Poles, Pipes, Drainage, etc.
It is also used in the manufacture of concrete structural commitment (beams, columns, foundations, etc.).

  • Content of Tri Calcium Silicate (C3S): Greater than 56%
